Established in 2005 by Dave Unger, CPA, as Unger & Associates, PC, this CPA firm has proudly served as a trusted partner to clients in the Platte County and surrounding Missouri and Kansas areas. Dave Marsh, CPA, joined the firm in 2012 as a highly respected client advisor.
In 2020, the firm went through a rebranding and the name was changed to Unger & Marsh, PC. Personal and professional service for our clients is a priority in the firm. Working with individuals as well as small and mid-sized businesses, the entire team is here to assist and is committed to ensuring that our clients are on course for greater financial success.
Dave Unger – With his extensive background in taxation and expertise in estate and trust, small business and management consulting, Dave is recognized in the field of Accounting for his professional excellence and within the community for his personable, caring approach to our clients and colleagues. Dave is also a dedicated family man and enjoys utilizing his handyman skills and an occasional golf game when he is away from the office.
Dave Marsh – Understanding that clients’ respect must be earned, Dave is passionate about working in partnership with his clients. With a diverse background that includes accounting, tax and managing business operations as a Chief Financial Officer, Dave has first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing small business owners and has the skills to guide his clients as their advisor and advocate. Dave is a dedicated family man, avid ice hockey fan, enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as a great barbecue.
Kevin Unger – Through his extensive experience in process efficiency program development and the operations side of investment accounting, Kevin supports our clients with operational consulting and improvement initiatives. In addition, his attention to detail is a valuable asset in the preparation of our client’s financial statements. Kevin is a dedicated family man and since 2013 has operated a league of 20+ adult ice hockey teams.
Tammy Fivecoat – Working with the public for the past 18 years, management, and owning a small business with her husband all are experiences that provide Tammy with a solid background for being part of the team. She provides a friendly face/voice as she assists clients and also works to assist all professional staff. Tammy is a dedicated wife, mother, and proud Gigi who enjoys crocheting and scrapbooking.
